WE NEED A SAVIOR

After Election Day the 2008 Presidential campaign starts. The Democrats are united as a party, but the Republicans are in the sad position of herding cats. The Democrats have popular big name candidates to foist upon the American voter; Clinton (and her husband), Kerry, and Obama, just to name a few. The Republicans have…? The Republicans have to stop shooting themselves in the foot.

If we are to keep the White House in 2008, the Republicans need to re-assess the whole party. It is time for a new paradigm in politics. The old system of dues paying or seniority, or entitlement is past. The Republicans need a candidate. One and only one candidate. This person must be a combination- personality wise- of Ronald Reagan, Harry Truman, Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. We need a dynamic, charismatic, inspirational, youthful, and communicative candidate. Some one who can inspire hope for the future. A candidate who can bring people together; in a common alliance in a state of harmony to seek a better and stronger America.

There has to be a Governor, Congressman, or Senator who can do this. The Republicans suffered a major loss when JC Watts of Oklahoma called it quits. Colin Powell won’t run. The only solution to the problem is to find a candidate NOW. Once they decide on a candidate and a compatible running mate, they should tell, no order, everyone else to butt out. This is the new paradigm. No matter your seniority, no matter your power, no matter your paid dues. Butt out and back the choice. The candidate should start running for office after the November election, with the FULL BACKING OF THE WHOLE PARTY. All egos to be left at home, please.

If they continue to practice politics as usual, they will lose and lose big. Politics as usual will no longer cut it. The Republicans must practice simple marketing; market, message, media in a symbiotic relationship. Most people in this country are Conservative. The majority of the population is value oriented and believes in traditions. Most people in this country are religious. All the things we represent.

Too many people are mad at the Republicans and they have done nothing to dispel that anger. That is the problem.
